Torus Property Solutions has been helping flood victims and supporting local causes in Lancaster
With a water shortage looming, the severe floods that devastated so many homes a year or so ago may seem a distant memory.
However, 18 months on, thanks to Torus Property Solutions the residents of a number of homes in Halton, Lancaster, are finally able to move back in.
After 8 weeks drying out, the hard work began with a process of plaster removal, replastering and painting. New bathrooms, new kitchens, replacement internal and external doors were fitted and in a number of rooms a damp proof membrane was applied to floors. The value of works was around £27k per home.
During the time the works were carried out, TPS became part of what was a small and close knit community. Wanting to thank the community for their welcome and by way of offering further support, TPS director, Wayne Booth donated raffle prizes for the annual end of season award ceremony at Halton Junior Football Club. More than 150 players and families attended the ceremony.
“We were delighted to have the opportunity to support Halton Football Club. We are hoping to help further with the improvements they have planned for the football grounds over the next few years”.
